There are so many dog products on the market these days that it is easy to get overwhelmed. Below, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite tried-and-true products for your pups. At ATX k9, these are items we personally own, and items we regularly use during training.

MARTINGALE COLLAR – These collars are made to be comfortable and loose on your dog, but also tighten if they pull on the leash. We use them to prevent collars breaking open (buckle collars break open a lot!) and to keep dogs from backing out of their collar.

LEATHER LEASH – Leather leashes are much easier on the hands and wear extremely well over time.

SLIP LEASH – Slip leads are super easy to throw on and don’t require a collar. We always keep one in the car just in case we forget a leash.
